The Malt Affair returns for its tenth edition on 5 September 2026, Saturday, at the Amara Singapore Ballroom. Built by maltheads for maltheads, Vol.X brings together over 400 whiskies from 21 exhibitors, including the returning Diageo Rare & Exceptional and La Maison du Whisky.

Vol.X also welcomes a roster of international guests: Dutch authority Michiel Wigman, Mr. Ardbeg himself Geert Bero, Japanese luminary Hideo Yamaoke, KC Fan from Taiwan and Italian specialists Enrico Gaddoni and Max Righi. New additions to the show include Whisky Bar Aiba, Bar Minmore, Bar Simon and Bar OMC from Japan, OBE Whisky Bar from Hong Kong, PK Malt Room from Vietnam and Woodcask from Singapore.

Entry tickets are $15 online and $25 at the door. On the floor, over 400 whiskies await, with pour prices ranging from $5 to $2,000 per 20ml. Around 70% are priced below $50, so whether you're hunting a 1960s vintage or trying your first single malt, there's a price point for it. Visitors are welcome to bring their own glassware or pick up a whisky snifter on-site for $10.

Launched in 2017 by four whisky advocates, The Malt Affair has always been about more than the bottles. Co-founder Billy puts it plainly: "Vol.X is your ticket into the fascinating world of whisky. We feature rare distilleries, special vintages, and collectible spirits that are often difficult to come by. But we celebrate not just the spirit — we celebrate the connections it fosters. It's a heartfelt gathering where enthusiasts share stories, sip remarkable drams, and create lasting memories with like-minded people."

The exhibitor floor spans whisky bars, independent bottlers, distributors, private collectors and a whisky club --- each bringing their own portfolio of signature and vintage collections.
